About Us

WHO WE ARE

Compassionate Care

At Family Services, we’re here to bring hope, healing, and support to children and families in our community. Founded in 2014 by Bernetta Quinn, our agency was built on her unwavering dedication to serve, her faith in kindness, and her resilience. Today, those values remain at the heart of everything we do.

Our purpose is simple but powerful: to help those we serve reach their fullest potential. We believe that every person has a purpose and that, with a little support, those facing mental health challenges can find the strength to move toward a brighter future.

Our Services

Family Services provides essential mental health programs to help youth and families thrive. Our two core services are:

  • Intensive In-Home Services: Designed for youth ages 5–21 in the District 19 localities and surrounding areas, this program provides customized, in-home support for families and children dealing with behavioral and emotional challenges.
  • Therapeutic Day Treatment Program: Aimed at school-aged children, our TDT program offers a safe and supportive environment where kids can build social skills, emotional resilience, and behavioral health. Our dedicated mental health professionals provide wrap-around care to meet each child’s unique needs.

Our team of experienced, compassionate mental health professionals is skilled in supporting individuals facing mood disorders, behavioral challenges, substance abuse, and emotional issues. We’re here to bring hope, skills, and meaningful support to each client and their family.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a pillar of support in the Tri-Cities area for children experiencing challenges in school, at home, or in the community. We aim to create a safe, nurturing space where they can open up, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to succeed in life.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring light, encouragement, and positivity to children struggling with difficult behaviors. Through compassionate care, coping strategies, and a safe environment, we help children manage anger, depression, and communication challenges so they can feel understood, valued, and seen.

  • Honesty: We bring integrity and authenticity to every interaction with clients and team members.
  • Caring: We deeply value each client and staff member, embracing everyone’s unique personality.
  • Teamwork: Together, we can accomplish anything.
  • Positivity: Positive energy drives growth and change.
  • Success: When our clients thrive, we all succeed.

Our Beliefs

  • Every child deserves to be heard and valued.
  • Healing from trauma is possible.
  • All children deserve the chance to succeed and need someone who truly cares for them.
  • With the right tools, encouragement, and guidance, children can flourish.
  • The world becomes a better place when children learn honesty, integrity, and positivity.
