Intensive In Home

Intensive In-Home Services (IIH)

Our Intensive In-Home (IIH) services aim to support families and prevent youth from being removed from their homes, as well as help with reunification after an out-of-home placement. Family Services Inc. offers a range of community-based therapeutic services tailored to each client’s mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs.

Through assessments and evaluations, we build a treatment plan that targets specific challenges and creates a pathway to positive outcomes. Our services include:

  • Individual: We provide one-on-one sessions to help youth develop coping strategies, build self-confidence, and foster trusting relationships.
  • Family: These sessions strengthen family bonds, improve communication, and address specific triggers to create a more supportive home environment.

Our team is committed to empowering families and helping youth thrive in their home and community.

FAMILY INVOLVEMENT

We believe family involvement is essential to lasting success. Our services include individual and family sessions where we work together on behavioral goals and strengthening family bonds. By engaging both the client and their natural support system, we help build family skills and strategies that lead to long-term positive outcomes.

CASE MANAGEMENT

Our Case Management services help connect clients with the essential support they need, as outlined in their Individualized Service Plan (ISP). The ISP is designed to provide access to a variety of resources, including mental health and substance use support, medical care, social and educational services, job assistance, housing, financial aid, transportation, recreation, and legal advocacy. Through this personalized approach, we work to ensure clients have the necessary resources to thrive within their community.

INTERVENTIONS

Our interventions focus on supporting clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being through practical activities tailored to each child’s needs. We create a safe space for open communication and foster positive growth through activities like: Social Skill-Building Games, Emotion Recognition and Expression Exercises, Coping Skill Practice, Role-Playing Scenarios, Positive Reinforcement Activities. These practical activities empower children to build stronger, healthier relationships within their support systems and develop essential social and emotional skills.
